Freedom Detox Expands Services to Include Residential Treatment
ALTOONA, PA — March 25, 2024 – Pyramid Healthcare announced today the expansion of service offerings at Freedom Detox in Gastonia, North Carolina to include post-detox residential treatment for adult clients.
The facility has changed its name to Freedom Detox & Recovery Center with a new logo to better represent its expanded offerings. Freedom Detox & Recovery Center’s new residential treatment option is now available to current clients who have completed the detoxification process and will benefit from this step-down level of care.
Clients enrolled in Freedom Detox & Recovery Center’s new residential program will also have access to a variety of ancillary services during their treatment stay. Equine-assisted therapy offers a unique opportunity to reap the benefits of interacting with horses, including improved self-awareness, empathy and communication skills. Transportation to offsite 12-step and self-help meetings allow clients to build a community support network they can continue to lean on beyond the residential treatment stage. In addition, onsite grooming services can help boost clients’ self-esteem while they focus on healing.
