Visit Grandfather Mountain. While you're driving the Blue Ridge Mountains, stop by Grandfather Mountain. You'll be able to walk all the way to the top and across the Mile High Swinging Bridge. Go fishing. For those who have a love of nature, consider fly fishing at one of the local fishing holes. Whether you try it yourself or hire a guide, you will have tons of fun.
Try zip-lining. Like hot air balloon rides, zip-lining the canopy of western North Carolina mountains is amazing. You'll float over the treetops on a once-in-a-lifetime ride.
Tour the Biltmore House. This estate is something to see. From the gardens and vineyards to the farm and restaurants, you can spend an entire day or two right on the grounds.
