Welcome back to part two on our series. Our Columbus OH alcohol rehab center has been focusing on questions that recovering addicts can ask themselves to help them reflect on 2016. More Questions For Personal Reflection of 2016
How did you grow as a person in 2016?
We need to grow each year as a person both mentally, spirituality, and in some cases even physically. Did you make strides to become a better person? Did you try to be a better husband or father? Did you do things that helped other people? Did you give back to the community, help a neighbor, donate time or money?
Did you find God? All of these questions we're asking in this subsection can help you grow as a person. If you neglected this part of life in 2016, make an effort to do better next year.
What's not working in your life right now?
As an addict in recovery, you'll always be at risk of relapsing. That means you should be constantly taking stock in the things that are just not working in your life. It can be people, places, things, bills, or anything that is getting you down or holding you back. You might need to reevaluate a few things about your life if you have several items on this part of your list.
However, don't just look at these issues and feel sorry for yourself. Do something about it. For each thing that's a problem, come up with a solution that will help fix the situation. In fact, come up with as many alternative solutions to each problem as you can. This will help you build an action plan for dealing with these issues in 2017. If one solution does not work, you'll already have a "plan b" waiting.
