These Tips Will Help Your Spirituality
Read Books - There is a lot of spiritual literature out there for your immerse yourself in. You can read about different cultures, religions, and all the important spiritual leaders from our past. There are also plenty of books that are just meant to lift your spirits and make you feel good. Then there is also the Bible, the Quran, and the Torah, plus many more religious books that you can read to become truly enlightened.
Reading and learning is gaining knowledge. And that knowledge can be turned into power that can help you fight your addiction problems.
Practice Forgiveness - This idea means more than just forgiving people, it also means forgiving yourself. However, forgiving people and practicing tolerance is a highly spiritual characteristic. If you've been holding grudges against people who have wronged you in the past, let it go and forgive them. This doesn't mean that you're letting them get away with it, it means that you're focusing on positive feelings, rather than negative ones. The negative feelings are only holding you down and causing other stresses in your life.
You also have to forgive yourself. Yes, you're probably not proud of a few things from your past. Who's not? We all make mistakes. The key here is forgiving yourself, learning from these mistakes, moving on, and not making them again.
New Age Sage - People have been burning, or smudging, sage and other healing herbs for centuries. As the smoke clears it blesses the place and provides positive vibes. Try it the next time you're feeling like you could use a spirit boost.
