What Are the 6 Stages of Use?

Iffiness – Falling into the iffiness phase means that you're confused about how you feel about quitting. However, you are starting to feel that using drugs or drinking alcohol isn't giving you the same satisfaction that it once did, and your vices are causing you more problems that are interfering with your life.
Prepping – The person in the prepping phase has decided to quit, or cut down, but they have not yet changed any habits to make any positive gains.

Maintaining – You're doing great! You've either really cut back your intake or substance use, and have made a lot of positive gains in staying sober. Now the challenge is to maintain, grow and not regress and relapse.
